Mobile T&E App

PRIVACY STATEMENT

The Mobile T&E App (“App”) is a software application designed to help you with the submission of travel expense documents (such as invoices and receipts) to a designated third party. The App is owned and operated by Canon U.S.A., Inc. (“Canon U.S.A.,” “we,” “us” or “our”). Your use of the App is subject to the terms of this Mobile T&E Privacy Statement which supplements and incorporates by reference the Canon U.S.A. Privacy Statement (collectively, the “Privacy Statement”). The Privacy Statement is intended to inform you of the types of information we collect, as well as our policies and practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of that information, whether accessed via a computer, tablet, mobile device, or any other technology or device now known or hereafter developed, and how that information will be processed by us and our affiliates (collectively “Canon”). In the event of a conflict between the terms set out in this Mobile T&E Privacy Statement and the Canon U.S.A. Privacy Statement , the terms set out in this Mobile T&E Privacy Statement will supersede the terms set out in the Canon U.S.A. Privacy Statement.

The App is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older and located or residing in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.

Please read the Privacy Statement carefully, because by accessing or using the App you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to the terms of the Privacy Statement, and consent to the manner in which we may collect, use and disclose the foregoing information. In addition, please review our Mobile T&E App End User License Agreement (“EULA”), which governs your access to and use of the App.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We and our service providers may collect information when you provide information to us and when information is collected automatically.

Personal Information. “Personal Information” is information that could be used to contact you, or to identify you personally, or that otherwise relates to you (such as your first and last name, postal address, email address, or password). In order for you to use the App, you will need to create a login ID and password, which may involve providing us with Personal Information, such as an email address. Furthermore, when you upload a document (such as a receipt or invoice) onto the App, the document may contain Personal Information in relation to you, such as your name, credit card information, postal address or phone number.

Other Information. We will also collect certain information in relation to the documents you submit, such as document type, expense type, date, merchant name and location, transportation details, time frames and dates, project purpose and ID, expenditure amounts, gratuities or any other information in relation to the documents that you provide.

Analytics Services. Whenever you use or interact with the App, we, as well as our third-party service providers, may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect information about how the App is accessed and used. Usage information may include your operating system, time spent on the App and your use of the App’s features. This information helps us maintain and tailor the App.

The App is not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18 years of age, do not use the App and do not provide any personal information to us.

4. RIGHT TO MODIFY THIS MOBILE T&E APP PRIVACY STATEMENT

We reserve the right to modify this Mobile T&E App Privacy Statement at any time at our sole discretion. If we modify this Mobile T&E App Privacy Statement, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Mobile T&E Privacy Statement. Changes will be effective immediately (except for material changes) upon the posting of the revised Mobile T&E App Privacy Statement in the App or on the website from which the App may be downloaded. In the event we make material changes to this Mobile T&E App Privacy Statement, we will prominently post a notice of such changes prior to the changes taking effect. Please note that if you do not agree to the modified Mobile T&E App Privacy Statement, you may not use the version of the App to which the modified Mobile T&E App Privacy Statement applies. Your continued use of the App following the posting of the changes or any applicable notice period will mean that you accept those changes.
